Don't assume anything....but keep on the dealer...

This stinks...I sure hope it gets resolved soon.

Yes, they have authorized a buyback, but it's more of a swap. I retain the 2012 until a replacement 2013 is built and delivered, which they said they are expediting as much as possible. Doesn't make the fact that I have a ZL1 titled in my name and have had it out of commission for as much as I have any better though.

The least they could do is absorb a payment or 2 due to down time.

That's good to know. I didn't read that they were buying it back. At least from that angle, you're being taken care of.

Any chance at all that is oil coming from the PCV valve at high rpm's that a catch can might be able to capture?

Just a noobs WAG.

Glad to hear they are going to replace the car. I would be worried to drive it hard once it was "fixed" in fear of breaking something. Sucks that you are paying a note and not enjoying the car.

I apologize for the inconveniences you are experiencing with your Camaro. If you would like me to look further into this issue for you, I can set up a case with GM customer service. I need your first and last name, address, phone number, VIN, mileage and involved dealership.

I look forward to your correspondence!

Cam....It is a good thing that they are going to buy it back from you and allow you to keep the one you have till the new one gets here.....Just too bad they can not fix the one you have.

I do applaud GM/Chevy for stepping up and taking the bull by the horns...all they can really do is replace your car and it seems they are doing that.....I am sure that this is an isolated incident and I am also sure GM wants to know as bad as you what is wrong with the car.

Hopefully soon your new car will be here.

I already have a case open with GM Customer Service, and have made numerous contacts with Level 3 and 4 Representatives. You can refer to my previous posts. I appreciate your concern.
