The catch can helps prevent unwanted oil getting into your intake manifold. From the Install Directions link below you can download in pdf format. Pretty easy to install though.

Um. My car is about 15 months old and I've put 40,000 miles on it. So I'd say no...

I bought mine to drive it. I have a long commute and it's an awesome DD. It makes me enjoy my drive, and I drive my car constantly even when I'm not going to work.

Enjoy your car! That's the great thing about cars... when you wear one out, you can always go get another. And if you take care of your Camaro, it should last you a long time.

No, you should have one for the V6 as well. It'll catch plenty of oil.

I have V6 i don't think catch can is needed? The PDF's states V8's instructions

No, you should have one for the V6 as well. It'll catch plenty of oil.
I guess i can use those instruction that he posted with my V6. Did you put the catch can on yours?

Mine is on order. When you order one, you will order one specifically for the V6 and it will come with instructions for your engine.
