Steve - would you happen to have an on line form or possibily start a database for all your pre-order people to enter our data so all the vehicle data is compiled for quick reference? Might help expidite your information gathering and help you sort the application types as well. Just a thought.

I'll patiently wait until I get the best unit here....not going to see me buy a non-VR CAI "because I couldn't wait any longer"....

I can't wait to see how many "other brand" CAI's show up in the classifieds once the VR hits full production...hee hee hee

i have the muffler delete plus auto does that make a differance not sure thanks #88

From what have I gathered from the all of the post is that there looks to be three types for the V8:

LS3 < 500HP "No-Tune" 3" Filter
L99 < 500HP "No-Tune" 2.75" Filter

LS3/L99 > 500HP "Tune-Only"

Not sure if they are changing filters in the tune model between M6/A6.

I didn't see anything to support these numbers anywhere. I saw that stock an L99 will use a 2.75" filter and with mods it may need a 3" filter like the LS3. In fact, the tested LS3 was not stock either, it had full exhaust making over 400rwhp. I'd expect an L99 making over 400rwhp would need the same filter size asa n LS3 making the same rwhp. The only reason for the stock L99 to use a smaller filter is an stock L99 makes less hp than a stock LS3. From what I can see it might be closer to 2.75"<380rwhp and 3"<500rwhp...it's all speculation.
