Just to update you guys on a few misconceptions...

We most certainly will have CARB on our systems soon enough, so absolutely no worries there.

Vortech offers both oil fed and self-lubricated compressors. So, if you don't want to tap the pan and run the lines, just buy the V-3 System and you're good to go...and you still get the superior fit and finish & OEM quality of a Vortech.

Although we do use air to water on some of our systems, our new 2010 Camaro system is utilizing a HUGE air to air cooler. Plus, don't forget we'll be drawing our inlet air from a 4" rotomolded air inlet that will draw cold air from the front bumper/fender area...not hot air from directly over the header.

Soon my friends...soon. We are sitting on pins and needles waiting for the production inlet duct to come in. We don't want to dyno the car without the actual production parts that will come with the system...so any numbers we report are fully legitimate.

All the products mentioned are good and some have pros and cons over the others. So far we have sold over 20 Magnuson kits on the new Camaro while installing over 10 of them. And I can say that the quality, power, look, ease of installation along with reliability is the best our company has experienced.

We use and sell all of the major blowers mentioned. You wont go wrong with any of them. However, we have been extremely impressed with Magnuson in every way.

We appreciate your support John!

Maguson has sold well over 150 of these kits now, and quite a few customers including Hennessey have eclipsed the 600 RWHP mark. Trust me when I tell you, a positive displacement supercharger running 30* over ambient making 15 psi is FUN.

So much for that MM&FF article I'm being toiling over regarding these types of SCs. Are these cars running different long blocks, or just with supporting fuel/ignition upgrades? I'd like to know so I can start planning how I'm going to get 600 RWHP with a SC that has a CARB number. If it's only a pulley and some fine tuning away, I'm there

I don't think there's a good way to answer this. it depends on the combination and the direction you want to go with these systems. I think all three will support ~900 horse'. No one has claimed a limit, specifically, for Camaro. The only one with numbers, that I've noticed to now, is the Maggie, and through Hennessey, they achieved 600 RWHP with 10 psi, LTs, CB, tuning, and some other stuff (they were getting ~530 RWHP with 6 psi, intake, CB and manifolds). I think, out of these four, Magnuson is the only one to actually have numbers posted... for now.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong

Yeah thats what I am trying to locate. is RWHP #'s for that mod alone, obviously to make claims they have to test the item on a stock platform so as to know what to advertise for gains.... Seems like the First thing they would do, not the LAst...? Kinda makes it hard to decide on a purchase when speculating on actualy RWHP gains..
