What a great & well written short story. It shows the pride and excitement that most of us have about our Camaro's.

Man great read. Let me tell you Scott about my ride home with Melissa. I have a special relationship with this type of car with my Dad who i lost this year to cancer. I drove 14 hours to get my camaro and on the way back i had tears in my eyes going through Toronto i was just overwhelmed. My wife who has been with me close to 20 years has only seen my like that once i just dont show my emotions like that. But hey its just a car right?

My fiancee says she's never seen me so excited about a car before. Well it's not hard to get excited about a car with 425HP, beautiful styling cues, and such detailed craftsmanship. You are lucky to have been able to have tested Thor, but I don't know if I'd be able to give the car back

Great story....I hope "Thor" gets the retrofit he deserves and moves on to a very fortunate new owner!

I know how much you are going to miss that car. It means more than just a car to you............it is the symbol of the rebirth of the Camaro and the many years we didn't have one.

I will always have memories of Thor from that trip to Florida in April.

For those of you that haven't seen the true greatness of this car, here is a link to the photos.

Goodbye Thor:(

He was the first and only Camaro I have ever ridden in here in Orlando when Jim/Number3 came for a short visit.. Boy was I glad I went over there. It was a pleasure meeting you Scott over in Ft. Lauderdale for the auto show and hopefully we can meet again someday when I have my SS.

Scott...

...

Thor's job, was to improve the brand. (Which I'm sure you helped him do via OnStar). Thor, through your unmatched sense of comradery, got to expose random strangers to this great new car, and perhaps tempt them into seeing what other vehicles Chevy's showing off today.

Thor's job is done. His mission was a success. And it's time to go home.

Thank you (both) for everything in those 15+ thousand miles.
