Exclamation ******** or Anyone else Please Help !

I have a few questions and maybe even a problem that I need help with .

I've installed a ********s complete FARK setup ( Bought from a member used on here ) a long with a JL Audio XD 700/5 Amp .
I kept all factory BA speakers and Radio just up graded the amp.

One of the problems is - My door Chimes are now loud as Hell !

2-My turn Signals now can be heard through the front door speakers ..

3- I have a White Noise /Hiss sound in the rear speakers even with just the Door Chimes going off .
I first noticed the noise in between song on a cd's and my Ipod -and now Door chimes .

I don't have the Resistor that comes in kit so is this my Problem ?? Or can anyone tell me what the Resistor does

Any help would be Great .

Sunday night and we had some temperate climates today across the US. I suspect that all of our users are still in jail awaiting bail for Reckless Driving.

Don't call me.

1. Door Chime volume - turn the gains on your amps down - preferably to 0.

2. You have always heard your turn signals in your front speakers, but with the gains on your amp/s up, the turn signal are hella loud. Again, turn your gains down.

3. Your gains are too high. Gains too high will cause a hiss. Also, you could try a Line Output Converter. it will knock down the amp input volume a bit as well.

that should do it

Yes the resistor will help with the door chimes if they are too loud. I still have mine from the FARK (I believe).

If I still have it I can send it to you.

Thanks ! That is a nice offer from you . I received a pm from a member saying he thinks the resistor is a 1K ohm 1/4 watt resistor . I'll check at Radio Shack this afternoon and if they don't have one I'll take you up on your offer

Thanks for the info and that sure did it ! I didn't go all the way to " 0 " Zero but I left them at a 1/4 turn . At zero I felt the sound wasn't as crisp so I turned it up a notch .
Now the Chimes and the Turn signals and Hiss is at Normal Levels again .
I did pick up a 1K resistor but right now I think I'm good but I may install it just to see if it makes a difference .
Thanks for your Input .

Glad I could help. The resistor didn't help me back when I was running the stock head, but as with everything else, YMMV.
