The decision between the 6speed and the automatic for our 2SS was a very tough one....but we nailed it with the automatic.

NO REGRETS.

More fuel for the L99 fire!

I'm with everyone else here. Between the "no clutch" convenience (drove two manual Camaros--a 5-speed and a 6-speed--for more than 25 years), the remote start, and the tap shift, this car is incredible!

I did the fuse pull and scared myself on the first drive (in a good way!). The machine is a beast. Plus, as with the LS3, you have the whole range of TC/Stabilitrak modes to play with (Competitive Mode is very, very, cool).

I'm sure you'll love it. Only one caveat...if you are young and have never driven a manual sports car, I think you might want to go that route for your first muscle car. It is an amazing experience (but can become frustrating in heavy traffic). I wish I could say driving a stick never got old (for some it doesn't), but for me it did. Have not missed the clutch AT ALL since getting my L99.

Never lookin' back!

I love my L99!!! I tested a LS3 once and I didn't think there was a difference plus manually shifting got old fast. IMHO anything you can do in a LS3 you can do in an L99 without the clutch! The Tap-shifting is amazing and has been developed nicely!!!

On another note, if I was doing road racing more than regular driving I would go with a LS3, but since I don't, L99 is the best for me.
