Either way works, what ever is most convenient for you, as long as they are GM original stock parts.

Without the iceolator it is egg cooking hot, especially after making some passes at the track.

With the iceloator it was still very warm, but I doubt I could cook an egg. It will never really be cool to the touch.

I removed it yesterday.. man.. The instructions they gave me in the package had no photos and were different than the online instructions. I followed online this time, and I believe I did it right. (This time I applied the permatex with my finger, because when i took it off from the first mishap it spewed into the ports lol)

Good to know you have it fixed. There were no instructions for mine either. I went by the previous other posts.

Question fellas, many people don't seem too thrilled with their headers, some say hp gains some say fuel efficiency.. What are your thoughts with the is DDN/Stainless setup realistically, and tunes are mandatory after headers or is it okay with no tune?

I like my headers. OBX were some of the cheapest ones out there and I still like them. I have had them over 5 years and 75K miles. Nice increase in HP. I have always liked my fuel economy too. I would look to a tune once all the mods are in to make sure you get the best out of your set-up.

Never heard of that brand but I love my ceramic coated BBK's. Wouldn't say a tune is MANDATORY but recommended or you'll get a CEL sooner or later.
