Okay so here's what i'm kicking around in my brain. My car has been built since 1/30/12.I basically wanna vomit thinking about this car sitting out in the crap weather all this time.Plus maybe even got driven in it already? That plus the thought of power increase in the not so distant future.I have a large chunk$ down on this bad boy,my dealer offered to refund everything no problem, and reorder what ever I want, whenever I want.Any opinions? What woud you guys do.

I'm confused. Why would you want to refund?

What is it you're worried about?

Nobody has driven your car in crappy weather. Yes, it is sitting in a lot at the plant but so what. It will be fine. There has been no mention of a power increase. Not sure why people are worried about this.

If I were you I would just chill out. Stop thinking so much and worrying about all of the rhetoric. Everything will be fine and this car will exceed your expectations.

At this point it is up to you to decide whether a low Vin is collectible or not. I personally would not like my car to sit 24 7 outside this time of year. I will drive my car alot but it will never spend 3 months out in the rain and snow.

To me that is the advantage of ordering a new car you have a week or two of transite but then it gets cared for by your standard not out in the elements. Now a bunch of people will chime in and defend GM but in my mind if your going to start selling cars that cost this much don't expect people to like photos of there new car covered in snow just cause you have some qc issues.

I am not trying to bash or be negative that is just how I feel.

I have heard nothing on a power increase so that should not factor in to your decision now.

Sitting in the parking lot is not going to cause any issues with the elements. It's not like it's being driven on salted, wet, messy roads with rocks chips etc.

It's bad for the tires. I doubt each car is being moved a few inches every couple of weeks so that the tires aren't wearing unevenly under the weight of a 2 ton car. Never mind the fact that Goodyear said not so store them under a certain temperature. GM isn't God and they aren't immune to chemistry/physics. You guys can fanboy all you want but it isn't good for the tires, those are the facts.

I understand what you are saying, but really think you might be assuming too much. I wouldn't worry or lose sleep on that. It's ok to be skeptical, or as some say, "picky", just check it out real good when it comes in.

I love this car as much (or more) than the next person....but it's not made out of glass.....

And knowing the Camaro team's attitude towards this car - I'll bet you this...if the tires come to you with irreparable flat-spot (which I doubt) off the truck...I'd guess the warranty would cover it.

Rain/Snow...it's not going to melt the car, either. Let it come to you -- and after a quick wash, it's as good (or better) than new.

I was thinking along the lines of how much exposed untreated surfaces are under these babies, not sure.On the power increase thing ,I'm just thinking with the Shelby GM isnt gonna sit on their hands for long .Plus with my luck whenever I buy something the next best thing rolls right on out.As far as the refund re-reorder thing the thinking was for 13 or 14 for that matter, its ordered built bang in my garage? But the low # is cool as well.
