You probably wouldn't win then but your cars looks a lot better, especially when it turns.

If he would've been straight up with me it might have been a possibility. If he would've done a gentleman's race it wouldn't have taken any longer than it took to drive to the freeway for a pull. Thanks but it didn't feel right with how secretive he was being

never seen anyone put braided steel line over the IAC before. Something is hidden in the line. and I wouldnt have taken the bet for $. the amount of power those engine can make while looking simple is stupid. Who knows how much boost he was running. The 2.8 can easily push over 20 lbs of boost.

Why are you so confident??

It all depends on the driver...I took down a C6Z06 with my Cobra on the turns...

You did the right thing. He's up to something.

But if you guys raced for bragging rights, I would have gone from a dig - no matter what he says. Also did he switch to SRA or stick with the IRS? Maybe he'll launch it and blow his rear end.

Not sure about his rear end....likely still a live rear axle

Actually all 99, 01, and 03-04 Cobras had IRS, the swap would be for a live axle because they are stronger. Still, I think you did the right thing, he was hding something.

My guess is that he has a very low 10-sec ride there in the 1/4, possibly quicker. How fast are you?

I don't know. Last time at the strip my clutch would not hold 2nd and I've had a cam and retune done since then. LOL The pass before that clutch issue was 11.6 @123 but hit limiter going into 3rd. Guessing now with a decent pass on street tires in full trim to be low 11's.....IF clutch holds. Might run the strip next weekend
