Been away for a few days....Did you get them to pop out? They are a little tough but once unplugged you can push them through just takes a little bit.

I ended up not needing to. I was able to just raise the entire console up and swap out the module. It works great!

And while everyone is stating "this worked", where the airbags are concerned, there is more involved than just the bumper sensors. The airbags can deploy without impact (such as the topic with the guy drifting his Camaro). So is anyone sure this is safe?

Or more likely, no one really cares, until something bad happens, and the insurance company denies payment because the car was modified.

2010-2012 Manual Camaros, and 2010-2014 Automatic Camaros all use the same Yaw Sensor part as specified in the modification. Based on production numbers, that's somewhere around 330,000 Camaros using this part number. I'd say that's a pretty good cross-section of cars to validate the part is "safe".

Yeah there is a thread on it,
you have to pull out the Yaw Sensor- apparently it is a pain.

It took me one hour one morning, not a pain at all. Really less than that. I was taking my time getting to know the interior.

Definitely worth the effort IMHO.

Did mine last week. Not hard at all. The hill assist is a terrible feature.

I have a 14 and see the message on a few hills around here but I haven't had any stalling problems. I actually think it works good but I could do without it. I will leave it alone for now but this thread is good to know....

Hill assist I can live with. This skip-shift feature though is going to get someone killed on the road when they might need to put the foot down to get out of the way.
