Mid-Cycle ... Enhancement?
A mild update to car, usually consisting of tweaks to the front and rear and sometimes new engines or interiors. Also known as a refresh. Usually done 3 to 5 years into the production for a particular generation of car. Think 2014 Camaro, that was a MCE on the 5th gens.

It's going to be interesting to see how the Mustang refresh turns out. It looks like power may be 455-470 hp, with the 10 speed auto. GM needs to upgrade the Camaro if they don't want sales to completely collapse.

Out of curiosity, what would the gains be if they took the wheels, tires, brakes, suspension and aero from the ZL1 1LE and put it on an SS 1LE? I know the ZL1 cut 3 seconds off its time at MRC. Would an SS gain about as much going from the 1LE to 1LE+?

Most likely yes. It should be due for around MY2019ish so makes sense they're starting work on it now.

If dialed in right I'd think you'd see decent gains...just how much...Pete?

If MCE then that suggests a modified front and rear fascia. GM typically does not do headlamps for an MCE but like the Gen5 tail lamps are in play. Also like most GM MCEs there should be a new center stack for the IP.
This may or may not coincide with a Z/28.

My guess on this is what I am really hoping for. Basically an SS 1LE with the ZL1 1LE suspension, camber adjustment, and rear stabilizer bar adjustments. The aero would be nice but I'd rather have the DSSV suspension set up from the ZL1 1LE! (Finger's crossed)

Why is the horsepower less? Isn't an SS rated at 455 HP/455 ft-lbs torque?
