Back in the game

Sold my abm SS last year and got a wrangler jk because my kids talked me into it. I found a 2015 blue velvet metallic 1le that has a btr 3 cam, kooks lt headers, rotofab cia, and a few other odds and ins. It's a 2ss without the rs option. Has nav, recaros, and npp dual mode exhaust. This thing is a beast compared to my 2010. Wish there was more break downs besides the color.

Any idea what happened to the proper tires and wheels? That combo has to kill the handling. She is a beauty though.

I bought it from a dealer so not sure. Wasn’t sure what the set up was for as they are fatter on the sidewall but I’m guessing it was a drag strip car. Gotta say though that it handles a lot better than my 2010 Camaro SS. Wonder if I could keep the wheels and get lower profile tires?

Your wheel gap would be horrendous as those are 17" wheels. Ride height would be lower too. An inch lower than a Z28 with the same height of tire. Get some stock 20" wheels and it will really handle.

As I am sure you know, it came with 20" wheels and 285/35 tires. I would either go back to 20's or at least 19's. From what I understand there are more performance (handling) tire choices at the 19" wheel size.

Forgot it has 17s up front and 18s in the rear. Yeah wheel gap would suck. Guess I’ll try to unload these and find some stock 1le wheels and tires.

I would be interested in those Racestars if you decide to unload them. PM me if you're selling them.
