Given the weather forecast for this weekend coupled with the general lack of interest, I'll likely cancel the club run. We barely have enough to cover the discount if everyone shows up anyway. I have to let them know by Thursday so they can print the tickets. Barring a major shift in weather by tomorrow, I'll make it official Thursday. Anyone who wants to go ahead and drop out now post up. The sooner I can let the track know, the better, in case they planned to close the track for us again

Hey guys - just gotta plug Josh at New Age HotRods again. After some deliberation I decided to just bring my car to him to install the cam. It had to go there for tuning anyways, and although I like the idea of spending time wrenching on the car, I just don't have it. Additionally, it's extra piece of mind - Josh's attention to detail and experience trumps mine by a wide margin.

We did baseline the car and found it to make 402whp - that was with bolt ons and a previous tune by New Era Performance - it made 412whp on their dyno. Josh's dyno is notorious for being a bit stingy, so no surprise there. Then Josh installed of the GPI SS3 cam, BTR Platinum dual springs, Smith Bros bushed turnions, GPI ported and rod-mod intake, and 25% under-drive pulley. Meticulous tuning yielded a 70whp and 30wtq gain, with good gains from 3250 on up, and pulls strongly all the way to the 7200rpm limiter. Driveability is quite reasonable given the long duration and significant overlap of the cam - it's certainly no angel, but it sure makes me smile.

Josh and the guys at New Age HotRods are outstanding to deal with. I highly recommend anybody in the CNY area strongly consider them for tuning and/or any work you're looking to have done. Their attention to detail is second to none. I've dealt with them on a few occasions now, and I always leave grateful to have such a good shop reasonably close by.

3Camarosonhand gave me a call to meet him at the Chittenango service area & run to Werners service area to meet who ever is there and run to exit 42 Geneva if anyone is there. We will set up times by tomorrow some time. But we are going to hit and run. So if anyone has to do any thing get there early. Thxs
