The original plan was to build one up from bare block, but this one was built by Texas Speed. It's a 416, and my cam of choice will be a LPE GT9 or the custom cam in the motor. I will have to choose soon, I think the GT9 cam should pass, so it's pretty tempting. I stayed hydraulic roller, easier to manage.

They are Modulares, brushed center with a polished lip.

I was going to order a set of valve covers so I could keep the ones on the stock motor, but I'll do that later; can't wait that long!
Install starts this weekend, so I should be able to get the car running within a week or so. |

I just brought my parts to Ted. Ill drop the car in the next day or so. The only possible holdup may be my rear wheels that are at Bogart. |

I haven't jumped on the 15" setup, still debating whether to spend the money there or not. I can't decided whether or not the benefit is worth the cost. Do you think there would be a real difference?

Well I have 22s or 20s, pick your poison
I am leaning toward the 16" bogarts with the adjustable LCA, or a 17" bogart. Mostly because I have the rear suspension back in the car, and don't want to start over. I'm also thinking it is a lot of money for very little gain, IRS is the real limit here. |

Yeah I figured you would
I am going to trailer it, way too much hassle to switch at the track. Plus, driving it to the fest would be a nightmare. |

F driving the cars to the fest. I thought about driving to the fest and not racing, just having more time to see everyone, but Ill get in trouble of my car isn't on the track. So it'll be there racing again. |

Yeah, I'll bring my set of street wheels and tires for some of the other activities and the car show and such. That way I can drive the car around instead of the truck too. I'll be ready for you though, don't you worry
