Agreed, hard to understand your question.
Are you saying someone stole your Recaros?

What ripped off? Unusual wear will be covered under warranty, nothing in the world is perfect which is why warranties are around. Everything fabricated is bound to have some that don't last as long as designed too. My Recaros are fine and better quality than the stock 2010 leather seats I had in my SS which seemed to fit loose.

It's a well known issue with the Recaros. Take it in to your dealer and they will replace the cover.

The Nylon seat belt cuts into the leather underneath the shoulder clip.

How no one caught this in fleet testing is beyond me.

I wonder if this is happening with the cloth seats as well. I will check. Thanks for the explanation.

As far as I know it only occurs on the Recaros.

Talking

They make a soft microfiber shoulder belt sleeve attachment (any auto parts store) that is held on by Velcro. Made to prevent excessive wear or discomfort from shoulder belt. Otherwise, buy competition 5/6 point harness (3 inch waist belt and 2 inch shoulder belt) which would pass thru reinforced seat slot and eliminate most wear if they are pulled tight, like for track day. Probably would be uncomfortable on a long trip...but good practice for track day or endurance race...

But you shouldn't have to buy something to fix the issue.

As for the 5 point harness option, you'd have to install a harness bar for that. So not exactly a reasonable solution.
