Official V6 HP?

I've been hearing on different websites and videos the words probably, around, and about with regards to the V6's HP. Does anyone know the actual number?

The_Beast_ is correct. The official number for the LLT Camaro is 304 hp.

It comes direct from GM.

The 3.6L LLT motor will feature direct injection (DI) and variable valve timing (VVT). This is the same motor as found in the Cadillac CTS and STS. It has an impressive powerband and produces this power at very high efficiency.

Ahh I see. I knew all that other stuff, just did not know they had tested it for HP in the Camaro. I can roll with 304 horsies under my hood...

300+ or 304 depending on who you talk to.

...I suspect a dynometer may reveal some extra hidden ponies...but that's GM's way, isn't it?

If you want to talk about the hidden ponies, I think there are some stuck in that exhaust. Replace it. That intake isn't aluminum. Get a new one. You could have some freer flowing headers. I'm sure that computer could use a more aggressive tune. I could go on.

would it be fair to say that with the performance intake and catback exhaust accessories from GM that the HP would go up to about 320?

I thought the guys from D3 Cadillac installed an intake and exhuast on the CTS with the DI 3.6, and gained 31rwhp WITHOUT a tune..?
