Found this on another Forum thought I would share.. Did a quick search and didn't see it anywhere else. I apologize if its a repost...

Below is my artist representation of how it all went down and more pictures of the car.

Not sure about the guy in the Tacoma, but the driver of the Camaro was fine. Did you notice the bent frame on the Tacoma?

I'm surprised the head airbags came out but not the side airbags.

Is that the frame or just the running board? It's hard to tell from the picture.

The SS owner is definitely at fault unless the Tacoma owner ran a red light. Looks like a decent accident though... they all probably got away with a few minor bumps and bruises.

Look just under that running board and you can see the frame itself is twisted and bent...

From the looks of the drawing and the other pics, it looked like the Tacoma was pulling out of a popeyes parking lot, or just turning onto the street from the center lane going the opposite drection of the Camaro, NO LIGHT, so the Tacoma would be at fault...

The Camaro is not at fault. This is because the cars to the driver's left have voluntarily yielded. Had they been forced to yield, this would be a different story. The Camaro was under no obligation to yield.

Oh that was my bad. I didn't see the curve in his "artist rendering."

Given the height of the Tacoma, and the low stance of the Camaro, the impact was on the frame, so you would expect it to bend.
Point of Impact was right at the height of the bumper cover of the Camaro.

Yea sadly it's my car. Thanks for the kind words. They voluntarily yielded, I never even saw him. I was going 35ish mph and had maybe 2 car lengths to get ON the brake and slow. Didn't get much accomplished and slammed him. Front and side curtains popped. Car has a lot of damage. Initial estimate without getting into anything is over 16k.

Sad part is we were coming back from the day out for my girlfriends birthday. She hit her knee on the dash or something flying hit it. Swollen knee and bruises, and cut on her hip from the seat belt. I have a burn on my neck from my belt and a busted left hand from hitting something (a-pillar or side airbag or something). Both are sore, necks hurt but overall we'll be fine.

Car may be a total loss. Hope his insurance treats me well...

Wow, I didn't realize, or notice that being posted over on moderncamaro... If I had, I would have included it. Hope those injuries end up healing quickly and fully. And hopefully they will replace your ride, but the wait will suck. Again, SORRY to hear bro!
