Pasenger Heads up Display

How cool would this be for your passenger.
Motor heads could see whats going on with speed and rpm. since these cars are going faster then they feel.
Young people would love it .

What do you guys think?

Useless IMO and add extra cost to the car that the owner/driver doesnt NEED as he already has it.

Maybe with a turn key , just like the airbag kind a thing , if you wanted to show that to the passenger just turn the key .

HUD is Head Up Display. Most call it "heads up display", as if you have 2 of them....

So while this idea of the OP would make HUD plural, I say no thanks.

It would depend on who your passenger is for sure.

An off switch would be a must when the wife is with you.

An extra HUD instead of my wife leaning left to look at the speedo every few minutes? Nah...

Something like 85% of the time there is only 1 person in a car or truck.

Extra cost and weight for only a people that would want it.

Agree it would be cool for a certain customer but not worth the cost and mass for that rare combination.

No thanks, my wife already squawks ennough about how fast we are going. Don't need her to see the actual speed and everything else. If anything I need something that tells her the wrong speed, RPM, etc. Or a mute button on the steering wheel. Yeah, that.

Definetly would need an on/off switch, would be great if my buddies are in the car an we are just fooling around, but could be really annoying since whenever I drive my sister anywhere all I hear is "you know the speed limit is only **". Maybe the heads up for te passenger could display other things, like the radio information and whatever other info my link has. Instead of have a Big Nav screen you could keep te basic radio and have a HUD mylink that could be turned off.

Not for me. My passengers are scared enough without knowing how fast we are actually going!
