I'm going to finally say it. The Cruze looks like a Toyota. I'm sorry. I can't sidestep the obvious disappointment I have with the styling of this vehicle. The interior is perfect. Any RS package is a great idea. More Chevys should have RS appearance packages. I just really think that the Cruze has bland exterior styling. I know that the compact economy car is not exactly the pinnacle of automotive styling, but this just bores me.

I look back at classic Chevrolets. Among the smallest classics are some really great cars. Imagine a comeback Nova, Chevette, or Vega. We could incorporate more unique styling into today's cars thanks to advanced technology that can make a piece of sheet metal look like anything we want. How is it then that every car in this class has textbook exteriors. Imagine a compact with more aggressive lines, a front end with classic grille, and the efficiency of a Cruze.

GM didn't make a splash with a boring Camaro. It isn't just the powertrain that sells this car, and none of us would be here discussing it if we'd all rather have something else. The same is possible with every car in Chevrolet's lineup, but GM needs to take another chance.

The Cruze is a great product. I hope it sells like crazy. It's efficient, and the interior is a testament to GM's design team. When this car needs a refresh, please make something bolder.

You are right, they do fit and having a wheel and tire combo that doesn't fit looks bad, and GM seemed to have a number of cars (though not their newest models) where there was a couple inches of wasted space.

The overall size of the wheels a tires is one of the only complaints I have about my Grand Am.

I don't see that at all...:( Bland-er than the Camaro? Yes...But I think everything is. To me, its spunky without being polarizing, which is after all a bad thing. You want to appeal to the maximum spectrum, even if that means toning down the design a bit.

I guess I'm just not the audience for it. It is a good car. I just wouldn't driving it.

its OK. make it a 2-door coupe, brembo's up front, LNF in the engine bay, 6speed tranny, stiffen up the shocks/springs/sway bars, tune it to be faster than the cobalt ss at the ring, and slap a ss badge on it = WIN

Two things I wish they would do on the RS......add HID healights and add dual exhaust or even just a single pipe exhaust, to me cars look cheaper when they hide the exhaust pipe.

Any ideas on pricing? It would be a good little car to rack up miles on.
