Wow! Thanks for that pic...I like it. No pic of the back mat????

Yeah, I owe GM an apology asking for mats in the back on a $48K car. Thanks for slapping some sense into me!...lol.

They were cost reduced out some time ago. Maybe from day 1 of the Gen5.

But keep in mind, everyone says it's ok that this car has no useable rear seat, so why would you expect or car for there to be a mat on the floor of your "extended luggage area".

I rode in the back of my Gen 5 for about 40 miles and, yep, it was uncomfortable. I'm pretty sure it had a mat. I really don't care if there's usable space in the back for anything other than packages or a place to throw my jacket. Albeit, for the price of the car, you'd think they would add $10 worth of floor mats for the back.

10 dollar floor mats would be something to get upset about not at least having in the car. But Chevrolet's floor mats are hand sewn by leprechauns from unicorn hair which is why they cost 160 for a set (including the allusive rear pair).

Sounds about right. Standard cars don't have rear mats...same with my 2012 ZL1, and the 14 2SS/1LE.

Number 3 has a point.

They are pretty cheap and probably made by those you named. I was also surprised to see the passenger side doesn't have the clips to keep them in place. My 2015 Malibu has that feature!
