No aftermarket halos even compare to the stock halos.

I smoked the tail lights so it really didn't matter if I had the RS pack or not. I changed the wheels and tires so the MS wheels didn't matter. I am vinyling or painting the roof black so the black ditch moldings do not matter either. The ONLY reason I got the RS package was for the Halos. It looks blah without them.

The only thing that I wanted in the RS package was the spoiler, so I just stayed with the 2LT. It is aggrivating that they make you buy the RS package to get the molding on the top painted body color, but I can live with the black.

No, I love them. And I love how people, even people in BMWs with the angel eyes, do a double take at the Halos.

"Hate" is a pretty strong word to throw around, but I think it depends on what look you're going for.

I'm glad my Aqua Blue doesn't have the RS package, I think the Halos would have taken away from the 1st Gen Vibe (White Rally Stripes & "old" SS emblem in the center of the grill & trunk lip).

Now if I wouldn't have found my ABM, I probably WOULD HAVE gone for a Gray one with the RS package....the Halos made the Gray look more "sinister".

I think they would get too played out then. I turn mine on every once in awhile around dusk, but not all the time. That just seems a little ricey to me. I like how the entire upper fascia sort of blacks out during the day with the lower DRL's on. Love my SS/RS

Same here. The halos is one of the best parts of the car. When I show people pics of my car or when I show them in person I always show them the halos !

Just wanted to see what your thoughts were. I for one will still be ordering my '11 SS without the RS pkg.

The original Bumblebe doesn't have the RS headlights. So if you where looking to be more like the car in the movie that would be the only reason I would order one without the halos. Money could be another factor.

I do the same thing. They should have made the halos the daytime running lights instead of the fog lights (that are not really fog lights, but daytime running lights).
