Angry ! Engine Power Reduced

Has this happened to anyone else? Let me tell you it’s no fun when trying to pass on the interstate at 70MPH. Check engine light comes on and stibilitrack is disabled as well.
Going to the dealership today, according to OnStar it has something to do with P2138 Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor.

that is the downside to having a lot of technology in a car: more things that can break.

Sounds like a sure and simple fix. You may not even need to wait for a new part; perhaps just a reinstallation will fix it

Acceleration pedal sensors failed a lot on the drive-by-wire '05 and '06 GTO. Same symptoms.

Cable throttle > dbw
