Like others have said, this would be very expensive and I would assume just buy an ss. However, if you are going to strip the camaro down like Nathan has done....http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=188393 , I can only then maybe see a reason to do this.

I would wait until about two years before you plan to do this and then reassess the situation. There may be lots of options then that we can't think of right now. Who knows what the cheapest route will be.

Damn. Looks like buying a ss would be cheaper. But I'm looking to do something over the course of years. So like once I can afford the best engine I buy it. Once I can afford the best transmission I buy it. Looks like its just gonna be a never accomplished dream of mine :(

I I don't plan on doing this until the v6 engine and transmission is totally K'ed out. No sense in tossing a perfectly fine engine and trance and all right now.
