I need lines for the ZL1 and they are bent 45* OEM. Wondering if the 90's would work.

Thanks. I think he went with ATS-V. So to make it even more complicated, the ZL1 upgraded brake kit is not the same as the 2017 ZL1 OEM stuff. I know... weird.

You referring to the GM performance kit for 5th gens?

Yep.

And FWIW I called Rennick and they have not finished the development on the ZL1 application which, to me confirms that the lines are different than the ATS-V too. They said mid July they will have them listed for ZL1.

Just to chime in... lines made for the standard 4-piston setup won't work on the 1LE (or LPO 6-pistons), fittings need a 90* bend at the caliper and the line has to be at least a couple of inches longer. The ATS-V setup is close enough to the 1LE and the lines do fit. ZL1s have a different setup, the fittings have a 45* bend at the caliper, and seem to be a similar to the CTS-V... but I have no idea if CTS-V lines will fit a ZL1 like ATS-V lines fit my 6-piston 2SS.

Considering how much I paid for the ATS-V lines, I would just get a custom made set. My car had no lines because the 4-piston lines were installed and I threw out the stock ones while my car was getting other work done... I had to order something that would arrive quickly so I could drive my car. I will say that the lines I got have no plastic covers and are extremely high quality, so it's not like I regret getting them or anything. I would just get a different color if I ordered custom

Just to confirm, you got ATS-V stock or aftermarket lines? And: where they steel braided?
Thx!

I think I may just order one line and send it off to a custom maker per Crank. Probably not a bad way to go and the Reddicks are very pricey anyway.

I ordered aftermarket steel-braided lines made for the ATS-V. There aren't that many places that make them, a quick google search ("ats-v steel brake lines") should give you all the info you need.

Yeah, for the amount they charge you might as well just get a custom set. They are really well made though. I would assume you can just measure your lines and send them a couple of pics... I'm sure a company that makes lines for a living will know what to do with that info
