CAI, Roto-Fab, or Vararam. Pick one. You can't go wrong.

Adm (race), haltech as well. Just make sure it's a plastic tube.

On your second sentence, are you talking to the OP or me? lol If talking to me, I love my tune. PCM of NC doesn't lie when they say the car drives virtually like stock. There is a tiny bit of bucking/surging, but it's at 1400-1500 rpm and it's very easy to avoid it. Of course city driving is terrible on MPG, but who cares lol. Buuuut..on the downside...now I feel like 498 isn't enough...LOL.

I like it love the addition of headers, and sounds really nice with the Borla catback. However, I plan on heading to the track next summer and want to do a little more upgrades before then.

This thread is just full of FAIL. there's guys comparing a 30lb bookbag to a pulley and others saying there's 25hp to be had with scoop and TB with a CAI.

And yes IM TALKING RWHP lol.

Scoop, is really there to just divert cooler air not cram the air box with air.

A good cold air kit like vararam, adm, rotofab, haltech will net you hp

Let's just say the best mods and proven RWHP numbers are Lt's, a good CAI kit and a tune. It's a proven 40-45rwhp.
First off, to divert "cooler air" would mean air that is more dense. More dense air means more horsepower created from the combustion process. Please tell me you didn't mean to say this...

Second, The boys over Kesatie did a back to back test on the VMAX. And it DOES add horsepower. I don't know what happened with yours but there is a purpose. There is a dyno sheet available but even better, HERE'S THE VIDEO!!

and just in case you want one, Chase quoted the CNC Spiral good for 12-16 REAR WHEEL HORSEPOWER http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=235022

I don't feel I need to post Ted's results on the CAI testing that he did because most should already know. But in case you don't: the CAI with JRE Scoop was good for 18HP. The K&N (the intake he already has) was good for 9HP in the same test. So he gains atleast 9 from the CAI switch and scoop add-on and 9-16HP for the TB. You do the math. But just remember, there are links to back up the number I am quoting here. Just follow the links. Go on. Learn.

In all seriousness, to hit 500 REAR wheel hp naturally aspirated you need a cam and you need heads. If it is out of your budget then I would just keep saving up towards it. It's not going to happen with just all of the bolt ons. The strongest bolt-on LS3 Camaro I have ever seen only did 433rwhp on our dyno jet.
He is trying to hit 500 at the Crank not Rear Wheel...

First Off Chase doesn't even have a 5th Camaro or a dyno or a shop to install these and prove it himself.

Second if I made up a part OF COURSE I'm going to say it makes horsepower.

Do you really think an 18" fan in front of a bumper is really gonna work?
Do you really think a cold air intake kit test is going to be FAIR on a chassis dyno. I don't.

So if Chase isn't credible:

How about you show me atleast one post with Dyno results that show there is no increase in hp from a scoop or TB...

You are a copy and paste king. Do you have one? Have you gone to the track? Do you have a personal experience with both? Don't post what others have posted. Please do tell.
