Why punish GM when it was the dealer that was screwing him over.

I borrowed my father-in-law's late model F150 about a year ago because my wife had to use my truck that day. That thing felt so rough and sloppy I pulled over half way to work thinking it had a tire going down...nope, just the way it rode. Had that same experience with other Ford's, feels like you are riding on stone wheels. But hey...some folks love those Fords

I have to say I was turned from a ford truck guy to a chevy truck guy when my first Chevy truck over twenty years ago lasted for well over 250,000 miles with very little problems. The ford I owned needed something every time I turned around. I've been buying Chevy trucks to keep my guys working and earning money instead of sitting in a service station ever since. Also until just this year, Chevy was the only one that had a locker instead of just limited slip which is pretty much a joke in a 4x4.

Glad to hear that you got this nerve racking situation squared away. Good luck to you on your next vehicle.

What's to say there won't be trouble with the truck if it has some of the same features as the car.

I don't think I have enough information to make a judgement. What was the problem that finally lemon-lawed the vehicle? Otherwise this is all sounding very vague...

Totally understand bro, mine was in the shop for over 40 days straight when my motor blew at 9,000 miles.

If it has any other problems I will definitely lemon it. I too really hate the feeling now that I have to baby it in fear something else will go wrong. Any time I hear a tiny little noise or the car feels any different I kind of panic and think "here we go again."

I did not buy a new car to be more worried about it breaking than my old one with 180,000 miles.

I'm not sure if I will get another Camaro either, it isn't really the car, its just the bad experiences with it.

Good luck with whatever you get next.

Once you have a bad experience with something, it's hard to go back to it with the same feeling you started with.

Good luck with the next vehicle.

Don't know about the repair issues, but :

I live in West LA and had no problems with the day or two of heavy rains. If you are that paranoid about rain in SoCal, I don't know what to say. Maybe move to the Sahara?
