The extra day probably includes a time at the Vette track. FFrom what I know, the room allotment was 'normal' size.

Fest7 dates line up with that info and what happened. Guessing that hasn’t been updated yet.

Try Marriott CourtYard - they had rooms a few minutes ago

I booked at The Drury like I have for all of the CamaroFests in Bowling Green - 4 nights for $574 total

The dates on CamaroFest.org are for 2017.

For 2018, the Fest itself at Beech Bend is Friday the 13th & Saturday the 14th. The Thursday before is the track day at the NCM road course plus most of the arrivals, and Sunday is departure day.

Booking out the host in ~5 hours is normal.

There are overflow hotels within walking distance.

There are two host hotels...they are literally right across the road from one another. They do sell out quickly!

Also - regarding the websites - a couple of update hiccups...all of the information will be corrected soon. The accurate dates are July 12 - 14, 2018. The 12th is a Thursday, and is for NCM track.

Wow, Bowling Green Again???

Booked a hotel since it is hard to justify missing out on 2 fests in a row, but man we really need to switch it up again.

Hope not, but if so, Camaro Fest will quickly fall off my list of events to attend. 90% of the fun was the road trip to different locations, I sure don't care to burn up my leave road tripping the same 1400 miles every year. There are only so many detours you can take before you might as well make you destination elsewhere.

Can’t please everyone - especially those who believe 90% of the fun for CamaroFest is the trip there. Geez, maybe I’m missing out on something here, but I’ve always enjoyed looking at a bunch of Camaros (car show, drag strip, road track, auto cross, vendor displays, etc) and meeting some great folks with similar interests much more than enjoying the road trip to a different venue. Maybe that’s what family vacations are for....

From the looks of things these past few days with the hotels selling out so quickly it’s obvious CF8 is going to be the biggest yet. And that just doesn’t happen because Camaro enthusiasts want to take a road trip to a new venue. Mr Wyndham, mlee and their group have put in a HUGE amount of work to make CamaroFest a reality, and I appreciate their efforts tremendously. And asking them to put in all of that work again just to have a change of scenery is a bit much. LS Fest is a great example of how a car show/event should work - and they successfully have it at the same location each year. Now they’ve added a second location in Las Vegas to accommodate those on the left coast, and that may be something that can happen in the future. Anybody in that area willing to take on that huge responsibility? I’m sure Wyndham and mlee could give you some great pointers on how to make it successful.....
