What's the best time of the year to purchase a Camaro?

My father and I are in a argument on which part of the year would be an idea time to purchase my 2LT IOM Camaro. I live in Tulsa, Ok and due to our weird weather system it is rather difficult to decide on the best season to purchase it. I was thinking fall because you can enjoy the nice cool weather and work in the engine in good weather before the crazy winter weather hits. Then I can take advantage of all the safety features in the Camaro in the winter when the snow and ice comes. I'm not sure about the spring, because if I wait that long I might as well wait till the summer to see what the 2012 models will bring in... What do you all believe the best time of the year would be to purchase a car and please give details to why you believe it would be a good idea as well. Thanks!

Wait until the middle of the winter at the end of the month for a good deal. Thats if they have in stock what you want. Just depends on when you 'have' to have it!

If you can find a 2010 in November thru Feb. time range, you will make a killer of a deal.
Even the 2011 models are gonna be a good deal. This is assuming you live in an area that gets very cold and gets snow.

I will say winter. Even if you don't experience cold and snow where you live the holidays and Christmas may slow down showroom traffic which could mean better deals for real buyers.

Weather aside...the prices at the end of the vehicle year are great. 2010s now are going at very reasonable prices.

If this year is any indication, summer provides the best selection on the lot, and the best time to make deals. You have 2010, 11's to choose from or you can order one. If you are strictly going to order I would opt for winter so that you can drive in style in spring, summer and fall.

I did not order the car I use for my daily driver but I searched the internet and bought this car on Dec 31 of that year. They will deal with you due to inventory taxes, etc. That's my experience now of course myself wanting a new Camaro and knowing this will probably be my last car in my life time I will probably have to order it. for most people here it'll be spring or fall. But for me I bought mines in the summer cuz thats when my b-day is and my camaro was a b-day present. Plus for me buyin a camaro in the summer means I get to enjoy it and take it to the beach and fun places before school opens and I have to just drive it to school and back -_-

How long does it take to get to your Chevy dealership? Honestly, got mine on July 20, so SUMMER in a Camaro is where this car chick is coming from!

if your buying off the lot, buy Nov. or Dec. at the end of the month. The dealers will be dying for a sale (save $$)and you should have a good choice of cars on the lot.
