I am considering the same setup. I am also considering the GT-9 cam from Lingenfelter.

Just got one from ADM Performance for my Vette. They have them in stock. I'm going to get an E-Force, but I won't be installing for another month or so when it gets a bit cooler

Paul,

Thanks for the awesome videos. From outside the GT-9 doesn't sound that much more aggressive than the LS-9. How does it sound inside the car?

It feels a lot more aggressive power wise. The GT9 is also an LS9 cam. In person there is quite a bit more lope but is very street friendly.

I think I will go with the GT-9. I really like how quiet your car was at idle. Of course, that maggie screamed when you got on it. Is that the fessler moss gauge pod in your vehicle?

Sorry, didn't mean to thread jack. I have spoken with adm, lingenfelter, and granatelli about the LS9 and GT-9. All 3 said the LS9 was the best bang for the buck mod available. The lift on the LS9 allows you to keep the stock valve springs and doesn't require a tune. It will net you easily 20hp NA and more in a FI set up. All while maintaining a stock idle.

You have to know yourself though. I have followed your build and didn't you just switch the 2.8KB for the 3.6. Paul2010 has run both. He said he saw a much larger gain with the GT9.

I will be ordering this tomorrow along with the upgraded beehive springs and the installation adapter from lingenfelter. $400 bucks is not a bad price for everything!

I modeled these cams in Engine Analyzer Pro for usmcjlp.
The top is the stock LS3 cam (last) vs. the LS9 cam (current).
The bottom is the stock LS3 cam (last) vs. the GT9 cam (current).

The cam that usmcjlp picked is better than either of these. We need him to tell us what it is.
