Your Thoughts Please Savini SV-21s

I have an SLP ZL585 on the way and I want to install new rims and tires. SLP includes the Eibach one inch lower springs.

What do you think of the following combo? What are the drawbacks to this choice of rim tire set up? For those of you who have experience with this size of rim/tire, what have you noticed that has changed from the stock set up?

Rims:

Savini SV-21 22x9.0 Front & 22x11 Rear

Tires:

Pirelli P-Zero Nero 265/30-22 Front
Pirelli P-Zero Nero 315/25-22 Rear

All opinions are welcome

I can't offer you any first-hand experience, but my opinion is that they would look sweet! What color is your car and what finish(es) are you considering for the wheels?

Basically, the car looks just like this one except that it's 2011. SLP made a few changes for 11.

I'm thinking about all chrome. I tried to build a few different rims on Savini's site but I keep coming back to basic chrome.

I like the style, but I think chrome wheels look cheap regardless how expensive they are. If you do not like black like me, then maybe brushed center with a chrome lip?

Great looking wheel. Honest opinion? I think the SV23s matches the body lines of the Camaro a little better. The Camaro has sharp, straight edges all over it. I usually try to pick wheels that compliment the body lines. Curvy cars get curvy spokes like the SV21 above, and on modern straight-edge cars I lean towards wheels that follow that style.

I'm a big fan of chrome. I have to agree with Nine Ball though.

Having said that I just bought some Savini wheels (not installed yet) and they are gonna be a PITA to keep clean. But then I guess that is going to be true of all three piece wheels.

Looks great! Looks like it could be a split spoke SLP wheel... We have come some color matching with the 22" SS wheels... I think that might look pretty cool!

Here is an example:

Tottally disagree, you need to photoshop or take a look at a few cars and decide the look you are going for. I felt the 29's complimented the look i was going for and these wheels are curved. Nice choice for your car though. Savini builds quality wheels

The primary outer spoke on the SV29s is a straight 5-spoke with sharp edges. That curved section is just the background fan accent. That particular wheel works on the Camaro
