2011 2LT RS model has Dash ABL wiring removed!!! :-( - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

I just pulled apart my dash to hook up my GM ABL and the connectors are GONE!

I felt around in the bundle of wires and could not feel the connector or the post that everyone elses pictures showed the ABL connect attached too.

Can anyone think of another location the wiring might be, or do you think they pulled the wiring out of the 2011's entirely!?!?!

the connectors were pulled out of the later model 2010's You'll have to add the connectors in yourself.

Man, I wish I would have seen someone post that sooner!

Is there a DIY for installing the connecters?

I installed in dash ABL on Ilovehooters black 2SS. His had the backup sensors and no dash plugs.

I picked up some quick connects and pulled of the kick panels. Find the purple wire that goes into the door, and tap those.

On the drivers side, there are two purple wires. I tapped the wrong one at first, and found the correct wire in the back of the mess of wires. So you have a 50/50 chance of getting that right.

The purple wire is the positive one, and I just grounded the negative wires to the frame right there.
