Install 2010 seats in 69

I have had a few people ask how I installed 2010 seats in my 69 they worked great,they look very good but I didnt put the tracks in my car because I didn't get them plus they would have been to tall. If anyone here is interested I can can show you in detail.It was real simple 4 5/8s nuts weld in 1" tube then I welded a 1 1/4" piece of angle iron to the tubeing where the original bolt holes are in the floor. The tubing bolts in between the risers on the drivers seat with 5/8 bolts.The seats fit really well! I think anyways.The passenger side I just made 4 small plates that bolted to the holes on the seats then drilled a hole that went to the original bolt hole.I can not move my seats back and forth is the downside,except for the drives seat moves up and forward a little bit.I just installed for me to drive only anyways.

I would love to have my leather 2010 seats in my 71 Camaro, these 2010 seats are so comfortable.

Yes it was a joke, because there's no passenger seat adjustments in the 2010's and there have been complaints that shorter folks can't see over the dash easily.


I'll be sure to disclaimer my dry humour from now on.

I have to take them out when my deadner gets here I will take pics of the brackets I made,sorry Wylde 1 I have taken some slack about taking out the original white interior to put in the 2010,I thought you were makin fun of me trying to turn my 69 into a 10.I spoke to fast I apolagize to all Canadians.Well maybe not all I have seen iceroad truckers,,,, I cant take that laugh.......
