I'm lovin' the look of these stripes and am about a heartbeat away from ordering them but wanna get the opinions of my brother (and sister) Camaro lovers. Any of y'all install vinyl stripes? good idea or bad? I'm thinking once they're on there, they'll be there forever...

they are SIMILAR to the front end stripes on teh original first gens......either way, I perfer rally stripes. but if you get them....have them PAINTED ON.

They're unique and you'd probably be the only one in your area with them, but I think the normal stripes look better. But it doesn't matter - get what YOU want.

I got the hockey stripes and hood spears. I went with vinyl and as long as you get a good quality vinyl they should last many years with proper maintenance. I also have a 3m clear bra and the stripes were applied right over the bra without a problem.

Hey its your car, go with what you like. Yours is the only opinion that really matters anyway.

I think they look awesome, I like the way they continue onto the hood, you should get them.

If you love them, buy them. It's your car and your opinoin is all that matters!

That said, if it were my car, I would keep looking for other decals.

If the "Ultimate Warrior" (see old WWF Wrestling) drove a 2010 Camaro, it would look like that. The stripes that go up the hood scoop do not look like they belong on the car. Looks off. The ones on the 68' don't look bad and if they were like that it would be cool.
