Still no height adjustment in 2011 but someone had posted that the 2011 the passenger seat is mounted higher.. Not sure I have not compared the two. Maybe someone can give more info.

cant you just put washers or something simple like that to raise it up? I'm not an expert on the seat issue but i've taken seats out in the past on different cars and it generally consisted of 4 bolts. Stack a bunch of waters or spacers of some kind to raise it a bit? Nothing significant but maybe 1/2 inch or something would probably go a long way.

I think that idea was suggested, but people were worried about what would happen if in an accident and someone the mounting failed due to the modification. Insurance companies will look for anything they possible can to deny your claim, better to not give them a reason i guess.

Yes you can. The front is a hook and slot config, so not so simple to mess with that. The rear is just two bolts that is easy to space up a bit.
The front of the seat angles up quite a bit anyway, so the front doesn't really need to go up.

A couple little spacers in the back and longer hardened bolts. Done. I gave a shorter female a ride in the passenger seat before and after, comments were - much better.

Can't imagine a spacer under the bolt would cause any accident issue. What's the spacer going to do - dent the floor? I'm not going to give it a second thought.

Second thing I've fixed on this car with a trip to the hardware store. First was the spoiler that needed rubber washers to space it off the deck lid.

I've actually found some taller girls complain about it more. Long legs, so they put the seat way back. It kind of angles down going back, so as they go back it goes lower. Then you get the "why is the seat so low".

Some have longer torsos, you'll never hear a peep. Raise the back up a hair and everyone is happy.

The very first ride I ever took in a '10 Camaro was a friend's demo. Picked up a friend, and her first comments were - WTF I can't see over the dash.
Then I did a tire blazing 4 donut spin in a KMart parking lot - then she said - probably best I can't see anything .

went to test drive a 2010 camaro, as we were pulling out my wife says can you see out over the dash and i say yes why cant you and she says i can just see the wipers so then we test drive the 2011 and she can see better so i got to thinking about this thread and there must be some kind of truth to it.
