3" axle back exhaust?
So I've got the 2" primary with 3" piping headers from ARH (I plan on SC'n it for 600-700RWHP) but I'm having a hard time finding a good 3" axle back exhaust. Anyone have an ideas or will this be better as a custom axle back build?

We have a 3" axle back with dual center mount exhuast tips coming out this week comes as a kit with rear defuser

I would look at the axle back from arh. I'm sure it's made to fit and perform to the headers.

Doesn't ARH offer 3" all the way back to the tips? I know Kooks does but I would never reccomend it unless you like drone.

magnaflow has a 3 inch catback that will bolt right up to the ARH x-pipe, you have the left over magnaflow x-pipe but it does not come w/ cats anyway. You just cut after the ARH xpipe and use the 2 connection pipes and axleback portion of the magnaflow. I then sold the magnaflow x-pipe. You can pick up the magnaflow for around 900 bucks shipped if you look and pm some of the diff shops I used JRE. Not much more expensive than some of the high end axlebacks. I`m adding a Whipple so i need the full 3 inch. Those not adding a blower, turbo, or nitrous really are fine w/ the 2.5.

2010 SS L99, 536rwhp 10.843@126.72. Whipple Supercharger stock pulley, ARH 1 7/8 longtubes w/ catted xpipe, magnaflow 3" mufflers, ADM Race CAI, 3:70 gears, lightweight wheels and nitto drag radials. Stock internal L99, stock converter.
Bolt on best before blower 12.22@113.29 w/ nothing but ARH headers, catted x-pipe, ADM CAI and a tune on stock Pzero`s! Other car 2008 C6 Ls3, z51, A6, Npp Exhaust, best bonestock pass 11.80@118.82, Number 2 on the Corvette Forums Bonestock fastest list.. |
