Nelson Ledges Track Day (October 10th, 2010)

Hey guys! Im new here but I signed up because I wanted to let everyone know about our track day. I would love to see some of you guys come out! Also this is probably the cheapest your going to get to put your car on a road course!

With the help of our sponsors I am proud to present the LAST track day at Nelson Ledges for 2010. They will be closing the track for the season after this event.

Nelson Ledges Track Day (October 10th, 2010)

Presented by: Torqued Racing Solutions & SVT Owners Association Ohio Chapter.


Where: Nelson Ledges Road Course- Garrettsville, OH

When: Sunday, October 10th, 2010
Gates open at 7am, Racing starts at 8am and ends at 5pm

Spectators, family and friends are FREE! You only have to pay if your going to race.

Cost: $100 per "race pass/driver".

Just asked my wife what are we doing on this day, she responded with nothing. I told her I might go and race my Camaro. She said she didn't care. So I am looking to see how many other Gen 5's might be heading down to Nelson Ledges.

This would be nice, but I am just doing my first instructional track day @ Mid-Ohio on the 13th ( http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=73271 ) and then Maybe going to MTI on the Oct 10th.

Not sure if I am ready for a Track day like this yet in my car; on my bike YES!. I love track days on my bike!

Not sure so far its still a good ways out. Hope you can make it. We are running 3 20 minute sessions every hour from 8am to 5pm. We are splitting up the sessions based on skill level (novice, intermediate and expert). This will be be my first track day as well.

Hope you can make it ... should be a fun day. Feel free to bring your own drinks and food. They will have the concession stand open but I was told that everyone can bring their own.

One thing to keep in mind with our track day is its only $100 dollars and your guaranteed to get a lot of seat time. We are working out the details but might have an instructor available for the novice drivers that may be able to ride with you if you so choose on a couple laps.

It isn't the fact I need an instructor with me. But there should be some sort of rules and enforcement for passing.

Not to mention they should be shown the proper lines of the track, turn-in points, braking markers (what they are and why they are there).

Some people have NO idea, and others think they do and just run off the track.....

If I don't go to the MTI one, I might go to this

I understand. There are rules and the track will be marked in the appropriate places.
