2 keys programmed
When I accelerate hard/ jump on the gas, my car almost dies. It doesn't code but a message comes on that says two keys programmed. I turn the car off, restart and it runs fine again for a while until I try to accelerate quickly. Car dies or has no power. It happens mostly when I am going UP a hill, on an incline??
Or, it says stabiltrac and shuts down?? This happens if I am running standard set up or if I turn off traction control and stabil trac for competitive mode. Car sputters and shakes, says stabiltrac and shuts down. Anyone else ever experience this. Again there is never a CEL light left on and the car will run fine for three days and then does it again?? That is a very strange issue you are having - have you done any modification to it that would void the warranty for you to take it to the dealership? It sounds like you may have had a bad factory flash. If you had the car tuned, it is possible the tuner did something wrong.

I will take it to the dealership! Just wondered if I had a freak car or if there were known issues out there, as I have never heard of a problem regarding "2 keys programmed" ??

Ya ive never heard of the issue your having so best bet is to take it to your dealer...

maybe it's in the steering column? I drop the tilt wheel all the way to the bottom. Maybe I'm pinching or stretching wiring/ connection.
Wish someone knew or could explain the message though. "2 keys programmed"? Normally they have idiot lights for a common occurance? |
