SS Badging vs. RS Badging
Hello all. I am new to this forum and have been a Mustang enthusiast until I saw a pitcure of the 2010 Camaro. I have a 2SSRS Manual on order (who doesn't).
My question is about the RS badging. Do we totally lose the SS badging when we order the RS? It seems that GM should have made an SS/RS badge for these models. Of course, I am not totally up to speed on the Camaro so I assume no one will mistake an SS with the RS package for a non- V-8 with the RS. Just a thought. |

No, the SS badging is there but instead of SS being in Silver it will be in Red.

Your 2SSRS will have SS badging. When you add the SS option the SS becomes RED.

There is probably some other forum about this, but I do beleive that the RS only shows up on the grille. Also, you will be able to tell the 6 from the 8 because of the hood scoop. (I hope I am right here, I am sure that's what I have been hearing.)
Edit: oops i guess the SS is red LOL

My understanding is an SS/RS will have red SS logos. A red RS will be placed on V6s with that package. White SS logos will be on V8 cars without the RS package.
