Cecil county 9/15 anybody? - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Going to Cecil on Wed. I will be bringing my ZL550 my brother is bring his 10. second Challenger. Both of our wives will be coming with Challengers as well his wife's is brand new bone stock detanator yellow. My Challenger has tune catback and cai. Weather should be real nice. Hoping my wife will be able to make it. Baby sitter is away and hope that she can make it back in time.

Lewylew can you give me a run down on the track I only ran at Atco so far.
Coast?
Time?
Requirements and Rules?
Location?
Track condition?
1/8 or 1/4?
Travel time from Bensalem PA if you know?

I am so close to breaking into the 12s I ran a 13.1 at Atco on Friday

I have never ran at Cecil either. I have only been to Atco and Englishtown. I would say it is probably about 1 hr 15 minutes to an 1 1/2 from you. I here the track is a little faster than Atco. I just hope I do not get kicked out, my fast time so far is 11.545. If I make it below 11.5 I will need a rollbar. Challenger is running 12.7 with street tires. Hope you can make it.

Sounds like fun.... but I am certain that most tracks will peg you if you run 10.99 or quicker with no cage ..... then again some tracks dont really care. But I am sure its 10.99 or quicker for a roll cage.

I live just down the road from the CCDW I have never gone to the track. Never been interested in racing my Camaro. My brother takes his truck their a lot and he really likes the track.
