Help! Local Florida People Windshield Cracked Again - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

It"s just my luck the second time in 6 months my windshield in my 2010 Camaro recieved a dime or nickel size crack from a small rock pebble driving in the highway. I am pretty preturbed, the good thing was I had it replace with a GM OEM windshield for free thru allstate.

I am wondering if anyone know if there's a recall or manufacture defect on windshield being to weak or less dense to withstand a small pebble from cracking the windshield?

Since this is the second time, I don't have the out of pocket funds to replace the windshield right away. Anyone have any feed back to do it yourself type of fix?

Anyone know a professional company that can temporary fix a dime or nickel size crack?
