Help us choose the Caliper color for our next mod!
We are planning out our next mod and like to get a little bit of help from the forum.
Here is our next mod. SSBC Big Brake kit. Front: 8 piston front calipers 14’ front rotors two piece, 3.7 lighter cross drilled and slotted, Rear : 4 piston tri power calipers sculpted outer to look like a six piston caliper 14.2 “ 2 piece rear rotors, cross drilled and slotted/ plated We are going to get them custom powder coated so now leads to the QUESTION....WHAT COLOR for our ABM...The wife DOES NOT want red. So, I am looking at Black/with some blue sparkle, Silver with Blue Sparkle. I think ABM brakes is not custom enough...LOL If anyone wants to photoshop some color combos on our car that would be great.

you could powdercoat them SIM and then comeback with Indpowr painted on top in ABM.

I would color match that color stands out and don't think it would blend with anything. Especially with those wheels

I would go with the same color as the car and use your lettering as the offset color.
I love the way your car looks with the stance, color and wheels!! Makes me drool every time I see it in a post. |

I'm thinking the ZR1 calliper color would be pretty cool.

Blue with silver sparkle, silver lettering would tie in to the colors of your car nicely. You already have one of the more tastefully modified cars on the forum......

SSBC is not far down the road from me. I have their brakes on my 69 and love them
 As for color, I would say do red (but your wife says no) or grey/silver. Those colors would have the best contrast for your car. |

I have to agree with your wife,I don't think red would look all that great. My choice would be to go silver with some blue sparkle. As gorgeous as the aqua color is doing the calipers in the same blue maybe to much and distract from the overall look of the car.
