(Gasoline stops can be done as needed later on.)

Time: Meet at 10am, & leaving at about 10:30am
(The Fall Firebird Cruise-In is only on until 2pm. & we need the time to cruise up there...since we are not taking Hwy 400.)

Route: I am thinking... Up Airport Road & across County Road 42 & Horseshoe Valley Rd W
Should take about 2 hours driving time / 150 km.

Top up on cheaper gasoline at:
Petro-Can
610 Atherley Rd
Orillia, Ontario
L3V 1P2
The posted 87 octance price is $0.945 on Sept 20th.
& yes, they do have Ultra 94.

& after the show: cruise the infamous Southwood Road, aka: Muskoka Road 13
to a turn around point of Boston Pizza in Gravenhurst.
Should take about 1.5 hours driving time / 90 km.
& Southwood Road is about 35 km of twisty roads.

This might be modified on the day of the cruise to:
turning off of Southwood Road & on Hwy 169 towards Bala, then catching Hwy 38 to Hwy 400 down to Barrie.

2nd chance for gasoline for Petro-Can Ultra 94:
1200 Muskoka Rd S.
Gravenhurst, Ontario
P0C 1G0
Not as good price at $0.969 (on Sept 20th), but still cheaper than Toronto area at $1.005.

Leave Gravenhurst & had back to Marble Slab Creamery (if there is interest in dessert) in Brampton.

Total Distance: 390 km
Driving Time: about 6.5 hours

As suggested by someone else...the meeting/departure times have been moved up to slightly earlier.

The exit from hwy 11 to Southwood rd . is close for repairs on the north bound lanes.
You will have to go up further and back track to get to it.

Great cruise today gang, the weather was pretty good, the cool weather was loved by our cars. Nice to see & meet some new people, and also great to see some of the regulars, including a couple of Corvette forum guys.

Thanks goes out to Mike and Eric who lead the gang (from both ends, literally

) all the way to Orillia. I'm sure someone will post pics soon, I didn't have my camera with me.
