Well I finally got my car back from the shop with my new Vortech , I LOVE IT!! what a difference this kit makes on this car.
I have a 2010 Camaro SS LS3. First I like to thank Mike over at RMCR for GREAT customer service and price, honoring a deal loonnnng after he had to. Thanks again Mike! Also like to thank Vortech for putting together a great kit. Second I like to thank the shop that did the install, Im out in Jersey so I had the guys over at E-Shift Performance do the install for me. If anyone is in the Central Jersey area that needs a good performance shop I highly recomend them. Besides doing great work, Mike who is the owner came in on a Sunday after noon to open the shop up for me to drop my car off, and stayed over 2 hours after the shop was closed to wait for me to pick it up and went through every detail of the build with me. Ok now that my OSCAR award speech is done lets get down to the numbers. First the before Dyno numbers. First run they did was with just the K&N Typhoon CAI and it made 378HP Next run was K&N CAI and QTP cutouts and it made 395HP I know people have been asking about HP gains with CAI and Cutouts so that should be a good idea on most LS3 engines NOW FOR THE GOOD STUFF!! First run they did was with the Vortech V3 system.. Car pulled 523 HP ...Thats a bone stock Camaro LS3 with just the Vortech added Vortech Canned Tune and no other mods. The last run was 520HP with the cut outs opened...So pretty much with the Vortech the cut outs do nothing. Im waiting on the e-mail of the video of the SS on the Dyno and I will post up the Dyno Graph later today when I get a chance to scan it. So for now Im pretty happy with 523, gonna save up a few months for a LT Headers, Full exhaust and custom tune. Time to change my sig. if you add Headers you'll probably lose about 10~20whp .. The Supercharger boost goes up with restriction so your boost will drop .. You'll need to drop a smaller pulley on if you add headers to get the same amount of boost back. which will be a good thing.

Cutouts do nothing if you still have your cats restricting the flow. I'm running the same numbers with a procharger P1 with canned tune. How many miles do you have on your car?
