Anybody driving to C5fest 2

Is anybody planning on going to Arizona. If so are you driving or shipping your car out. I am thinking about going. It is just really far, and I am not sure if I am up for that drive. Trying to decide.

Shipping and flying is boring.......driving IS the way to go, if you are going don't deprive yourself of the road trip experience.:5thgenvert:

I doubt I'll go. Way too far. Almost no one from New England went to the first one in Valdosta. I think one from Ma and maybe one from R.I.
I left from Va with 13 others from the Mid Atlantic group. We had over 40 in our caravan by the time we got to Ga. A really great few days. That was close by compaired to this one.

It would be over $1000 to ship it there and ship it back. Plus what are you going to do, fly out there, stay in a hotel and fly home? LOL you're looking upwards around $2000+ for this trip at the lowest.

It would be awesome to actually road trip it out there in the Camaro if you were actually into having fun and being adventurous...oh yeah ,and if you had vacation time to burn. Transporting a car (read: this car) out there and back is a little silly.

I think I'll take my Honeymoon instead.

Hopefully they have this in the Northeast one time.

I think there's too many good local car show venues to consider doing an extremely long haul for a C5 Fest in the West. If the C5 Fest came to the Mid Atlantic area then I'd probably be there.

I wish camaro5fest the best but I doubt they will get anywhere near the numbers Valdosta Ga got. I think 500+.
