Who has the best headers for the V6?

I am contemplating adding headers to my 2LT and I was curious as to who has the best ones out there? Thank you for the input.

I personally are contemplating getting the BBK's. You can get an avergage of 33hp, but hen you have to get the tune.

We have been really impressed with the long tube headers from Stainless Works. They are available in 1 3/4” or 1-5/8” diameter primaries with 2.5” slip fit collectors that can be mated with either high flow metal matrix catted 2.5” leads or off road 2.5” lead pipes to fit the factory connection points. They are high quality 304 SS CNC mandrel bent headers that will not red rust like the cheaper 400 series stainless used by others and are lighter than coated headers. Feel free to hit me up if you have any questions.

Only reason why im even remotely interested in the SW headers is the 1-3/4 option. Seems like every LT header has something to give the others dont have. I'm still on the debate on which one to get. But I'll see when i get the money in check LOL.

I don't know if anyone's dyno'd the larger tubed headers on these engines to see if they actually increase power(I wish they would).

I went with BBK's not because I thought they were any better. I went with them because they were cheaper and saw good gains. When I got the stock manifolds off I could see how restrictive they were and I'm glad I swapped them out.

If money's no issue, the stainless headers are less maintenance. Stainless works and ARH both have nice sets with 1 3/4" primaries.

How are the SW headers less maintanence? Im not trying to be snide, but seriously =o Cuz i was considering maybe ARH... but u got me intrigued =D

And yeah, SW should be putting concrete facts about the different size tubes. Why would they sell two if they have nothing to show for it? >=(

SW headers aren't less maintenance. Stainless are. ARH and SW both are 304 stainless so you don't have issues with coatings wearing off if you're looking at keeping them pretty.

Really??

Here's the best looking ones...no debate about that. Power isn't going to be what LT's are, but they are emissions legal and don't throw CEL's.

LOL wow, i totally thought you were talking about SW headers when you said "stainless", i guess it was because you capitalized ur stainless, made me think u were going for the name =p

Sorry LOL. Yes, 304 stainless is a good way to keep your headers looking good. Unlike the stock... it's so red and rusty! >=(
