2011 - TPW 11/08

New here thought I would get this started, anyone else? I can already tell this wait is going to be a LONG one. Anyone ever hear about the TPW accuracy? Could it be any sooner or later? Camaro ordered- CGM V6 Manual RS CCpackage. Getting tint and subs first day I get it. Hopefully

This is going to be a long grueling wait especially after staying at 1100 from august 16 until now. I keep telling myself only another month only another month. Hell at least we will have our Cars by Christmas.

Btw my first mods will be tsp full exhaust with some sort of cai and a tune. Then when I get my bonus and tax return thinking about cam and stall.

Does getting a full exhaust void warranty? Intake doesn't I don't think

Well it could but that also depends on the relationship you have with the service dept. Being that I have a pretty good one I don't see me having much of problem.

That being said my exhaust warranty will obviously
be gone as it will not be on the car. So, if my exhaust rattles or rusts it's on me. If I break a bolt in the head it's on me.

Now if the oil pump goes out and I lose my engine that will be covered as exhaust will not have anything to do with exhaust.

As for cai (extreme example) if the filter were to get torn and pieces get sucked into your engine and you Lose your engine better get the check book out.

Another thing is how the dealers treat their service dept. If they treat them as a profit center they want as much work as possible and there are fewer questions asked in the name of warranty work. I never understood the dealers that deny money for themselves.

My service manager told me he don't care if a 73 Toyota it will be worked on and that his guys get paid for what they do and want all of the jobs they can get.

I'm with ya. I placed my order on August 12 and sat at 1100 for seven weeks before my status code started to move. A winter pickup is gonna be tricky up here in the Twin Cities.

I've ordered a 2011 CGM 2SS/RS LS3 w/ sunroof.

I'll be tinting the windows, adding an intake, then installing a full exhaust from headers to tips. I'm ordering parts from SLP to keep warranty headaches to a minimum.

To be honest, progress on my order is getting me a little hot & bothered.

Well mine, PFSFD0, has gone to 3300, for whatever that is worth. Have my eyes on a set of (4) factory replicas 20x9's with some all season's on them, the mandatory skip shift eliminator, Pedders sub frame inserts, and the ******** harness to add an amp and 12" sub in the trunk.

Damn man you got me beat by 4 days. Are you going to actually use you car during winter? Winter weather is something I don't have to put up with much here in ms.

very nice combo I would go with slp kooks arh etc but the price of the tsp system is pretty hard to pass up. Have you had slp exhaust on some of your past rides. I've heard lm1 can get a little overwelming after a while.

I feel the same way about my order status too it's like every time I call and bitch a little more progress is made each time.

I have been at 1100 since Oct 1 and I thought that was a long time. Of course I am still at 1100.
