GM Nationals/Camaro show @ Carlisle-pics.

Well, Carlisle was another great show this year.

I didn't get to hang out with Scott as much as I would have liked. :( But his "two orange friends" were AWESOME! Picture's DO NOT do the concept justice.

Tom Henry had a GREAT display as usual. (I always wish I had more $$$ whenever I visit his tent.)

And the Camaro's on display were very impressive.

I have to also say, as impressive as the Camaro's at the show are, it's the people who own them that really makes being a fellow Camaro enthusiast special. What a GREAT group of people. To all those I was able to spend some time with, I'd like to say "Thank You!"

Hope you all enjoy the pics.

You're very welcome.

As for that truck, it is INCREDIBLE! I'm certain there were many more things I failed to notice on it. I spent about 20 minutes just trying to catch everything.

I love that pewter Camaro with the airbrushed Dale Sr. and Richard Petty... That is so nice! That would definitely not be a daily driver for me lol. Excellent pics, thanks a lot for sharing! (Especially for those of us who aren't fortunate enough to go :()

Great shots, thank you for sharing

Some nice cars at that event for sure.
While I've seen too much of that HEROS truck - its a bit overdone IMO.

Thumbs up

Thank you so much, Moose!

You make a helluva good case for everyone to pay that show a visit next year! Are you sure you're not on the payroll as an advertiser/promoter??

I'm not on GM's payroll, but I'm more than willing to help Scott out with the Concept's!

I'm going to direct this question to Moose or anyone who knows. I saw the picture of the red '69 Yenko/SC Camaro. After all these years ( I graduated from HS the year before it came out) I don't know, but just what did the "SC" stand for? " Super Coupe", "Super Camaro", what? I didn't really know what COPO stood for until about 5 years ago...dah!

Mungo, the 'SC' stood for 'Super Camaro'.

Here's some interesting info. I found regarding Don Yenko and the cars that came out of his dealership. http://www.musclecarcalendar.com/WeK...amaroYenko.htm

As for the pic. of the orange Yenko I took. As I was looking closer at it, there were some things which seemed "suspicious" to me. Turned out it was a "recreation". The seller was after me to walk away with it, but the amount of money these "recreations" are asking, it's crazy! I'd rather spend that kind of money towards the "real deal".
