Dimming mirrors.....

My (inside) rearview mirror and the (outside) driver side mirror have the autodim feature. The green light is on, but the headlights behind (at dawn) are still awfully bright in the mirror. Maybe it would be better when the sky is totally dark?

There isn't an adjustment is there?

My experience is auto-dim works best at night - the disk/dawn times its not as noticable that auto-dim is working...

They don't seem to do much with those SliverStar lights either, I'm really getting to hate those things ...

X2! I hate those SilverStar lights- they are about the worse thing out there. They even bug me when I'm driving my 3/4 truck with a 3" Suspension Lift and 35" tires.

What drives me nuts is sun glare. Driving west at sunrise, it's blazing my eyes in the rearview, which for some reason won't dim for the sun.

When I'm driving east into the sunrise, let's just say the visors suck ass.

you know what I have this same problem, I had an autodimming mirror in my sport-trac a few years ago and it was fantastic. I was begining to think the one in my camaro is broken. Even at 10,11 pm at night it doesnt seem to work very well at all.

I'd rather have just have the mirrors work properly.
