Axle back ?????

I was going to get an axle back exhaust for my car recently but as i pulled into the shop to do it i noticed my clutch not going into gear properly. Turns out my master slave cylinder "ajusted itself" and was "a common problem in the v6 standards" and got fixed. But now i am worried that if i get an axle back exhaust and my clutch messes up again or any other recalls, they will void my warranty due to my axle back exhaust not being GM. Can anyone shed any light on this issue? Thanks!

In a word...no it should not, but just to be on the safe side, get in contact with your dealer's service manager and ask him straight up.

No it won't. Clutch has nothing to do with the exhaust whatsoever.

I need to find a dealer that actually cares. My dealer says anything that i do to the car will void my warranty. they tried to void my warranty when my clutch went out because of my rims, even though my rims were the exact same dimensions... freakin idiots

agreed on your assessment of your dealer...

For a dealership to deny your warranty claim they need to be able to show that your aftermarket part caused the problem.

Here is a good starting point:

Oh, and I had my rear end fixed under warranty, even with all my highly visible mods...

Too bad they weren't shut down when GM cleaned house a couple years ago. I wouldn't go back there for anything. Not only are they greedy, but they sound incompetent as well.

Run... Fast.

You don't have to worry, read this. The whole warranty being voided thing has been blown way out of proportion.
